Thunderheart Thunderheart sighed, and stumbled back into the forest. He was so hungry! He didn't plan on catching anything; he was too tired and too hungry to even try. It was a stupid rule, he thought, that the clan had to be fed first. How can you hunt when you can't even think straight! Of course, he didn't dare eat anything now- more trouble meant more consequences, and it was the last thing he wanted. For all his complaining, however, when a squirrel darted almost right under his nose he couldn't help but chase it down. He caught it easily, his skills as a hunter were good. Thunderheart flexed his claws into the soft earth. He loved that feel. What he loved even more was the clicking noise it made when he tapped his claws on the rock in camp. It sounded socool and he just couldn't resist it... Thunderheart snapped back into reality when he realized he had gotten the squirrel wet with his spit. He had forgotten to put it down. He spat it out, its hair still in his mouth. He hated squirrel! He took his paws and rubbed it on his tongue, trying desperately to get the large amount of squirrel fur off of his tongue.

[glow=red,2,300][shadow=red,left,300]MOONFIRE[/shadow][/glow] Moonfire had to admit, Thunderheart was an impressive hunter. As soon as she had enough prey, she went to look for Brokensnow and Thunderheart. Soon she found Brokensnow with a good amount of prey. As they searched for Thunderheart, she couldn't help but feel that something was wrong. Soon she saw Thunderheart and raced up to him. "I hope you got a decent amount of prey!" she meowed accusingly, but not forcefully,

Thunderheart How embarrassing! Thunderheart looked up quickly to see Moonfire. He was still trying to get the squirrel fur out of his mouth. "I cowet a schquirrel and et got fur en mah mouth." Thunderheart explained, then went back to getting the disgusting fur out of his mouth. While he knew he looked funny, it was the price he would pay for getting the fur out of his mouth. It felt disgusting! And tasted horrible!

Brokensnow [/b] Brokensnow's amber eyes were wide with shock. He sat on the fence, rigid with disbelief. The sharp Twoleg thing lay under his paws, stained crimson with the blood of the dead dog.
"I couldn't have killed it!" Brokensnow thought. "I didn't mean to....I.... it was an accident!"
He had stayed silent as the other two talked, and hardly noticed their exit. All he could think about was the fact he was a murderer now. Sure, the creature he killed was a dog, but it was alive in its own way. It did not die for a reason. This creature couldn't have harmed them; they were trained warriors, and would've known how to fight it off. He sighed, knowing thinking of the mistake would not have corrected it. The least he could do was take the shiny Twoleg item back to camp, knowing that his murder might be justified somewhat. He leaped from the fence, gripping the object in his mouth as he started his journey home.
After some time had passed, Brokensnow arrived in camp, his tail dragging, as if weighted down by the sin he committed. He padded into camp, and sat down in the shade, away from the others. It was not like this white warrior to not be social. The other cats noticed, and try to approach him.
"Please, leave me be," he meowed to them. "I need to reflect on something that has burdened my conscience."

Swifteyes Swifteyes scrutinized Brokensnow through narrowed eyes. There was something different about the white warrior, he just couldn't put his paw on it. He reflected on it for a few minutes, then came to a conclusion. The usually noisy warrior was quieter now, he thought, delighted at the precision of his answer. Brokensnow was always waking Swifteyes from his naps with his antics. This was the first day in moons that the camp was peaceful. "Thank StarClan," Swifteyes muttered underneath his breath, grinning at Brokensnow. Now maybe he could get some decent sleep for once. OCC: What an idiot.

[glow=red,2,300][shadow=red,left,300]MOONFIRE[/shadow][/glow] What was he doing? she hissed angrily. He was disobeying the warrior code again! Didn't she just tell him to not eat? She narrowed her eyes and looked closer. Noo...he was not eating it. Ohh! He wasn't eating it he was- He looked up, "I cowet a schquirrel and et got fur en mah mouth!" Duh! " Mousebrain" she meowed accusingly as she relized what he was doing, "What are you trying to do, kill it a second time with your slober!?" What a dissapointment she thought to herself. Even if it wasn't leafbare yet, they could use all the fresh kill, not waste it! ME: XD what season is it actually?

Thunderheart Thunderheart leaped up. "I was not trying to kill it with my slobber!" he exclaimed. He hissed at her and turned his back, going back to cleaning off his tongue. I was not trying to kill it with my slobber! What a stupid notion. How could you kill a squirrel with-

Maybe you could," she thought again, "It would probably drowned..." "Anyway, that's not the point, is that all you have.....caught......so far?"

Thunderheart "Yes, o great one." Thunderheart snapped. His patience had run out- which was odd, since he was normally level headed. "I am sorry I could not please the great deputy Moonfire." he said, sarcasm dripping off of his voice. He snatched up his squirrel, its fur now hard with his dry slobber, and started at a steady pace towards camp. He was tired, hot, hungry, and annoyed. The only thing he could now think of was eating the cursed squirrel and taking a well deserved nap. He had been chased by a dog, trapped in a twoleg nest, snapped at by his deputy, burnt under his fur, and had an unpleasant day. Things weren't going his way.

[glow=red,2,300][shadow=red,left,300]MOONFIRE[/shadow][/glow] This isn't a pity party, Thunderheart," she meowed, angry now, her eyes blazing, "you don't need to feel sorry for yourself. It's not mine, but your fault that you went on the adventure and now your tired. And it's not my fault that you are hungry. If you were just there to go on the hunting patrol with me, you'd be sitting in camp now with a full belly and I wouldn't be yelling at you like you're a kit." "Look, Thunderheart, you can have your adventures, i know they are fun, but enough is enough," she meowed as her gaze softened a bit, "Just don't expect not to get away without a punishment," "I know you are having a bad day, but be reasonable, you did bring it on yourself," she flicked him with her tail, "Come on, lets get back to camp, i want to know were Brokensnow got off to," and with that, took the lead and whisked away. However, even though Moonfire was being truthful, she left out one thing she could have said, she almost did say it, but she's too proud. I'm sorry! she meowed to softly to hear when she whisked away, her whiskers twitching.

Thunderheart Thunderheart narrowed his eyes and stalked after his deputy. He knew that just about everything that she had said was true, but that made it no less irritating. Especially from his deputy. And a she-cat, none the less. Thunderheart was thinking of a long list of unmentionable things about his poor deputy. He pawed the ground, making claw marks in the dirt. But as they got closer to camp, Thunderheart softened out a bit. Moonfire was just looking out for him. If she didn't care, she would have just ignored his ranting. He now saw Moonfire in a different light.

[shadow=red,left,300][glow=red,2,300] MOONFIRE [/glow][/shadow] As Moonfire walked off, she thought about how nice it would have been just to be a normal warrior and have kits. She shook her head. Mousebrain! She was deputy for StarClan's sake, her clanmates always go first! As she padded in to camp, she saw Brokensnow sitting by himself looking miserable. Well, she would deal with him later, now she would have a report to make to Raccoonstar. On her way to the Leader's den, Thunderheart walked up to her...

Thunderheart Thunderheart quickly took a bite of his squirrel. Now that they were at camp, Thunderheart felt better. While the heat had not died down, he planned on eating and then taking a nap. However, Moonfire caught his eye. She was walking towards Raccoonstar's den, and looked upset. Over what, Thunderheart could not fathom. Yet he felt the need to apologize for his childish behavior. He quickly got up and intercepted her, planning to make his apology short yet meaningful. However, he couldn't think and all he managed to say was, "Are you okay? You seem upset." Fool! he thought. You were supposed to apologize!

[glow=red,2,300][shadow=red,left,300]MOONFIRE[/shadow][/glow] Thunderheart padded up to her. He had a look on his face, sheer determination, yet, he looked a little guilty. As he opened his mouth to speak, what he said was not what she thought he was going to say, "Are you okay? You seem upset!" Immediately after, he looked embarrassed, as if that was not what he was going to say. She was disappointed, she had expected something different, "I'm fine," was she that easy to read? "You should be the nervous one," She flicked her tail on his shoulder as she tried to make light of this as she could, "Your the one that's getting in trouble, and I am not going to downplay it!" she meowed narrowing her eyes a bit. Mousebrain of course she was, why did she just lie to him? Wait, why was she downplaying it anyways. Any other cat she would have just told exactly what had happened, she wouldn't have lied to her leader, or have downplayed anything! Okay, now she was confused, she didn't like this cat or anything, did she? Of course not she hissed at herself, don't be so mousebrained! "I'm fine," she repeated again, not unkindly, "But now I have to go make my report," and with a flick of her tail, she padded into the Clan Leader's den.
OCC: She's mousebrained! XD can't even tell if she likes someone or not! XD

Thunderheart As Moonfire moved towards Raccoonstar's den, Thunderheart cursed himself. She had seemed so... disappointed in him. Why? You mouse-brained fool! You can't ever do anything right. Focus! he could hear his mentor say. Try again, and this time don't mess up! Thunderheart leaped forward and cut in front of Moonfire again. "While I'm glad you're okay, that isn't what I meant to say." he ducked his head, embarrassed, but forced himself to continue. He was a Snakeclan warrior! Nothing frightened him- not a badger, not an enemy, and certainly not his deputy. "I meant to apologize for my rude behavior. It was unwanted and uncalled for. I am terribly sorry."
