Subject: Nightleaf's application for Medicine Cat of CloudClan
Clan: CloudClan
Gender: She-cat
Personality: Nightleaf is a quiet cat who can be very helpful in finding herbs for even the toughest of sicknesses. She is quiet, but usually cheerful because she loves a cat's happiness more than anything. She is always determined to destroy a disease that pops up in the Clan, no matter how small the sickness, from a simple stomach ache to a case of greencough. She is fearful that she will fail to save a cat, and is very cautious around sicknesses.
Description: Skinny but tall she-cat with black fur and a large white stripe on her face and fire-orange eyes that can appear red.
Parents: Nightleaf's mom is the still-living Oakpelt, who is nice like Nightleaf but is very strict when it comes to her only kit, Nightleaf. Her father was a cat named Lizardfang, who died of a sickness that the current medicine cat couldn't cure.
Littermates: None
History: Nightbreeze was the only one born in a freezing winter colder than anyone had ever seen. Most were sure that she would not survive a day, let alone enough to become an apprentice. But, with a very determined mother and medicine cat, Nightkit was saved and survived the six moons to become an apprentice, in the warm greenleaf. After that, her father Lizardfang fell ill to a horrible disease, and was fed deathberries so that he would suffer no more. Nightpaw watched her father die, and from that day on, she trained to become the best medicine cat ever, who could cure any disease. She became apprenticed to Whiteleaf, who trained her in every aspect possible in medicine cat training.
Writing Example: Whiteleaf was dead. Killed by a huge badger that had taken three warriors to drive off. Nightbreeze, no Nightleaf now, was now a full medicine cat. But there was something that the badger brought that was making the entire Clan sick. Few cats had avoided the illness, one being herself. Almost the whole Clan was sick with a horrible stomach ache that no juniper or yarrow could cure. Nightleaf was the only hope for a Clan that most thought was doomed. Nightleaf was completely empty in stocks now, but no cat had died yet. But it seemed as if the leader, Jadestar, was going to lose a life. Finally, in a moment of desperation, she left the camp to fetch more herbs. She found juniper berries and yarrow and any other herb she could find, and finally came upon an empty beehive, loaded with honey. She snagged the whole hive from off of the low branch that it was hanging off of, and brought it back to camp. But when she got back, she cracked the hive and sent a trail of honey into a pool of water. An elder stopped to lap at the water, and Nightleaf cried "No! That's not water!" The elder happily replied, "Then what is it, because it sure made my stomach feel nice." The honey-water had cured the elder! Nightleaf quickly found some more water and broke open the hive, causing all of the honey to spill out into the water. She led her Clanmates to drink the water, and one by one, they were cured. Jadestar never even lost a single life! The so-called "Badger Fever" was gone. Cured by a medicine cat's fortunate mistake. CloudClan was safe once more.
Autobiography: Hi. I'm Viveca. I have read the warriors series, and I read it because it is fun and entertaining, and also realistic. My hobbies are reading, playing on the computer, and watching South Park. OMG I love Kenny! Something I would tell kids on the first day of school was that pie is good and that every day was national pie day. Not to be confused with nation pi day, with is the fourteenth of march. (3/14)
