Name: Seastar
Clan: FrostClan
Age: 38 moons
Gender: She-cat
Personality: What can you say about Seastar? A stubborn, independent, selfless cat who cares only for her Clan. If you threaten her Clan she will do either one of two things, take you out which is the lesser likely of the two, or do whatever she can in her power to defeat you. She isn't a violent thing, but she certainly knows how to care for herself and others. She believes in caring for others before yourself, especially the kits. Seastar cares for kits as if they are her own. Seastar has a very directed personality. Who she talks to basically depends on how she is. If she's around those she likes, her Clan, her medicine cat and deputy, kits, it's a pretty safe bet that she'll be cordial. With those who she doesn't like so much she can be a bit snippy and sarcastic.
The side of Seastar that many don't get to see is the most tender side of all. Seastar, since being chosen as deputy, has been longing for kits. As a deputy and leader, female warriors are not allowed to have kits. But it has been a life long dream for her to hold kits in her belly, to feel that loving tap that so many queens have told her about.
Another side of Seastar is her determination. And with that determination comes with the fact that she doesn't like to show weakness. She feels that if she shows any signs of weakness, that it makes others feel weak also. So she tries her best to hide and conceal her tiredness, weariness, skepticism, paranoia, and other things that could be burdening to herself and others.
Description: Seastar, with her tortoiseshell fur and serpentine body, has been considered as one of the more attractive leaders in warrior history. Her features are soft and rounded, except for her eyes. They are a piercing sea blue that looks as though she can see straight through you. She has a splash of white on her muzzle, giving her an almost painted look.
Seastar has strong legs, making her an excellent swimmer. Her muscles are lean and compacted. She isn't the strongest, but she believes in brains over brawn. She has a long thin tail that simply acts as a rudder when swimming or balancing herself while she climbs things. She has small paws making them quick and agile. Her claws are a clear pearly color, long and curved. They almost stick out of her paws when they're sheathed, but not so long as to cause any harm on anyone if she swats them.
Her ears are tall and pointed, giving her excellent hearing. She has a tear on her left ear, but just a little nick. She also has a scar on her right shoulder from a battle long ago.
Parents: Poppy (mother-rogue) and an unknown rogue
Littermates: Berrykit (dead) Whitekit (dead)
History: Her mother Poppy abandoned her on the bank of a FrostClan stream because she was expecting more kits. Seapaw only remembers the hunger and cold from the abandonment. Two Frostclan Warriors found her wasting away to nothing, they took her to the camp and had a queen nurse her as her own. Her adoptive mother is Sunstream. As a kit she was treated as if she didn't belong in the Clan. She would run away off the boarders of FrostClan and into IvyClan. She befriended an IvyClan apprentice, Pinepaw. She learned to hunt mice, and birds in the dense forest. After Sunstream found out she was wondering off, her mother kept an eye on her at all times. Pinepaw was struck down with greencough, and died. She stopped running away and focused on her apprenticeship. Her first apprentice as a warrior was Spottedpaw (now Spottedwing). Spottedpaw would've done anything for her mentor and still does now.
Seastar's mentor as an apprentice was the leader, Snowstar. Who later chose her as his deputy when his own died in battle. She couldn't have been more happy, and sad. She has always wanted kits, and being the deputy -and a female- didn't allow you that luxury. She handled the situation with grace, allowing herself to be molded as the FrostClan deputy that would do anything for her Clan. But she didn't know that inside her something was working in her heart. Something that would eventually kill her in the end.
Several moons after Snowstar had passed, leaving his shining deputy to take his place, Seastar rose into the leader position. She was the picture of a leader, strong, young and healthy. Wise in her young age, although at times impulsive. On a border patrol with a few of her own warriors, they got into a scuffle with an IvyClan patrol. Spottedwing, her first apprentice, almost killed an IvyClan warrior called Woodstripes. But she lived in the end, but relations with IvyClan only got worse.
Silentstar tried to poison FrostClan by putting crow-food in their main water stream. They were warned to late by the IvyClan traitor Duskwing, who became a very valuable ally to FrostClan. Seastar doesn't regret letting Duskwing join, in fact, she wishes that she wouldn't have been so harsh on her the first couple days. When Duskwing had officially joined FrostClan, Seastar assigned herself the duty of being her mentor for the day or however long it took for Duskwing to learn FrostClan fighting skills. It seemed as though Seastar were becoming a motherly figure to the young Duskwing, and Seastar didn't mind.
A few moons after that though, her life turned in a sickly way. At a Gathering, the sky was clear, everything was normal and going smoothly until Seastar had fallen from the Great Sycamore and thudded to the ground. At this time, she was in StarClan, hearing that from this point on she would loose a life every few moons until she had none left to give. Then Cedarwing would take his place as leader. Instead of wallowing in self-pity, Seastar went straight to work.
She first told Smokeleaf, the FrostClan medicine cat, about her condition. By the way Smokeleaf's eyes were and how she responded, Smokeleaf probably had a few things she'd like for StarClan to hear. But the two together, openly friends, tried to figure something out to help Seastar get her lost moons back. If not fully back, then to give her extra time on the earth.
Seastar couldn't keep her questions back, she wanted kits and asked Smokeleaf if she thought StarClan would mind. Smokeleaf answered back with a memorable "I sincerely doubt that StarClan would deny you anything. I am still doubting that they would deny you this life." With new found joy, Seastar went on the search for a mate and StarClan had provided for her a loving mate named Bluesparrow. A quarter moon later Seastar found out she was with kits and now plans on how she can live to see their warrior ceremony. The Liongrass that Nightleaf had given her would lengthen her life, but not for forever. Seastar knows this, and is finally at peace with it.
Writing Example: Grief swept over her in waves, almost knocking her over. Snowstar is dead. Listening to the wailing cats, Seafeather went to the medicine cat Poppyleaf. "We must head to the Moonplace now." Seafeather nodded. Telling her clan where she was going, they slid through the trees unnoticed. Poppyleaf lead her to the Moonplace. The moon was lit brightly, infact it was a half moon, the time that the medicine cats come and visit their warrior ancestors. After introducing Seafeather to the others, they lay in the clearing and dreamed. Seafeather opened her eye to ranks upon ranks of starry warriors. "Welcome, Seafeather."
Writing Example: Running through the weeds of the shore on the lake, Seapaw opened her mouth for the scent of prey. A warm, musky, watery scent hit the roof of her mouth. She stopped and looked around with her big sea blue eyes. She spotted movement near the lake. A brown pelt flashed across her vision. A watervole was nibbling at a beech seed. She lowered herself into a crouch, keeping her belly fur and her tail slightly above the ground, she slid forward. Paw after paw, silently like a snake streaming through water. She wiggled her haunches, then pounced on it! A quick bite to the neck killed the water vole. She took pride in her catch as she headed back for the clearing to give her catch to the only mother that's been there for her, Sunstream.
Autobiography: Hey! I like to read and write. Actually let me refraise this: I LOVE to read and write! I have read all of the Warriors books. I love the books because they are different from any other book. There is only one thing I don't really like about them, it's that they are very much repetative. But I forget these things and keep on reading! I love music (I actually was listening to my Ipod before I did this and just finished singing a song. I love to sing, I think I have a good voice, people have told me I should try for American Idol. The only reason I would do that is to see how far I could get . I like to figure things out, I do those seek and find games quickly. Also, I figure out puzzles quite quickly too. (I still say the only reason why I can do that is because I read a lot and once you read so many books things don't really surprise you anymore.) Well that's just a little bit about me.
