Mudpelt woke up feeling sore on his back. He lifted his head to find that he had been sleeping with a rock poking his spine. Not wanting to go get it looked at by Nightleaf, for Mudpelt was too shy. He hadn't remembered what his voice sounded like, and he decided he would go talk to a cat....later.
Mudpelt has chosen a juicy yet small rabbit, though as always, shared it with no one. Mudpelt looked around at the other cats, few were sharing at the moment. Mudpelt looked over at the fresh kill pile, noticing it was running low. Mudpelt decided to go and ask another warrior if they'd like to go hunting.
Mudpelt walked over to a warrior that as well, had finished their food. Approaching the warrior shy and careful, Mudpelt decided he could ask. "Hello," he spoke. Mudpelt had finally mewed. He had heard his own voice. A few memories flickered through his head, and he remembered what his mother and sister looked like. But nothing of hiss father. "Do you want to go hunting with me? I realized that the pile was a little low."

Silverbreeze [/b] Silverbreeze looked up from her finished meal, friendliness sparkling in her amber eyes. "Good observation," she replied. "Sure, I'll come with you. I don't have an apprentice to look after, I'm not that busy." Silverbreeze was happy for the cat. She had noticed the brown tom's shy behaviors before, and felt sorry for him. It was a relief to see him come out of his shy shell.
Silverbreeze sat up, and stretched, her silver tabby pelt rippling as she leaned forward. She ended the stretch routine with a yawn, and shook out her pelt. Her eyes were a little more alert, ready to start a hunt. "Where would you like to go?" she meowed politely. " I was thinking we try the the area close to the SnakeClan border. The Clan hasn't been over there in a while."

Mudpelt smiled. He hadn't talked this much in seasons! And he knew now that he had a friend that he could talk and hunt with. "Sure," replied Mudpelt. "Let's go." Thus, the two warriors walked out of camp together, and headed towards the SnakeClan Border. (I think this should be moved to the SnakeClan CloudClan Border)

(moved xD) Silverbreeze [/b] Silverbreeze broke into an easy lope as she and her companion left camp. She watched the sloping hills of her territory rush lazily by her, as her silver pelt rippled with a rhythmic pace.
She looked behind her, happy to see Mudpelt keeping up. She hoped her pace wasn't too hard. She loped a little back, so he could decide the pace for the run, if he wanted to. She looked ahead, her amber eyes sparking with excitement. Where would today lead the two cats? She could only wait to find out.

Mudpelt rushed out of camp with Silverbreeze. She ran ahead a little bit, but Mudpelt enjoyed the pace that he was at. The wind rarely ruffled his fur, and the surroundings seemed just like the way it should be. Soon, Silverbreeze slowed down a little to be next to Mudpelt. He had noticed he was being a slow-poke. He soon ran ahead a fox length, and smelt the air. They were close to the CloudClan and SnakeClan border.
He smelt a mixture of chaffinch and mouse. He sniffed the air even more. He turned to his left, and pounced. He landed on the chaffinch, brought it to where he left Silverbreeze at, and scraped dirt over it.

Silverbreeze [/b] Silverbreeze caught up, and purred, "Wonderful catch!" She turned around, suddenly quiet. She angled her ears, and scented the breeze, listening for prey. There was a scurry of small paws to her left.
Her head turned sharply. The scent of mouse wafted from the nearby bush. She crouched down, slinking quietly towards the source of the sound. Definitely a vole! she thought to herself. She heard the crack of a tiny seed. A moment later, the vole shuffled into view, unaware of the predator that watched it. Silverbreeze didn't waste another moment, and pounced. Her aim was on point, and she caught the vole. She looked up, the dead vole dangling in her jaws. She purred, proud of herself.

Mudpelt watched as Silverbreeze caught a nice vole. The prey was good this patrol. Maybe the clan wouldn't suffer from leaf-bare that bad this season. Mudpelt smelt the air once again. He smelt a squirrel. He turned to where he smelt it. He listened and heard its tiny paw-steps scurrying around. Mudpelt pounced. He didn't quite leap onto the squirrel, but he did leap on another animal somehow. It was a mouse. Mudpelt stood there, surprised by how he caught the mouse. The mouse wiggled around, then fell out of his grasp. It scurried away. Mudpelt pounced again. The mouse squealed with surprise. Mudpelt nipped at it to kill it quicker. Mudpelt brought the mouse over to the path and scraped dirt over it.
