MOONFIRE
SLASHSNOW
__________
My style has changed -maybe you have noticed, maybe not; but I feel proud for the darkness that has spread beneath the layer of writing I have written, yes?
I would like it if they all meet up -Slashsnow later- in the hunting grounds, like all are called together by the one 'sign' from StarClan, no?
I rest my case.
This Heartbreak will end, badly or in tact ; don't underestimate me -the fire still burns within.
The wind was blowing softly through her fur, and the morning hue in the morning sky was beautiful. Rainbows danced beneath the clouds as she padded through the bright sunlit forest. Her clouded memories were priceless -they were not going to help her in a situation like this. These days, her whole mind was tumbleweed of confusion. Gone were the days when everything made since and all the cats you met didn't give you a second look. Was she really that attractive? She didn't think so. She sighed -stupid, stupid Raccoonstar. Stupid, stupid! He shouldn't have made her deputy. He shouldn't have told her that he loved her. It made it harder for them both. Cats now wondered if their leader has any sense, cats regard her differently. They question his judgment -they question hers.
She was the clan idol now -in a bad way. This had to end. Now. Her choose was not weighed upon position, nor was it weighed upon bribery or act of judgment. It was the one she truly loved; but it was a hard choose, as she realized that she did love Raccoonstar. She loved them both -but did they love her enough to give away the possibility of kits? It was something that they had to think carefully about. She sighed; but they must not think long -it had already been not even two moons since she had first talked to Thunderheart that day. In practical, they had no way of meeting and falling in love that fast; but...she realized..that they were always looking at each other, even before they had talked that one evening. Always, since apprenticeship. Since.....
No. She was being mousebrained -or, was she really? She shook the thought out of her mind -and Raccoonstar, again, did she really love him? It was love that was impossible, turned to possible -who had ever heard of a deputy and leader in love? Like she said, it questioned both of their authority. She continued to pad along silently through the leaves. It was leaf-fall, and the multi-colored leaves littered the ground like a fallen rainbow. Everything looked peaceful and in place, unlike the life she lived.
A shadow passed through the forest, covering enlightening the forest with a white glow and then flashed dark, so she could see nothing. When the regular sun's light had returned, the place Moonfire had stood, was just a pile of leaves -she stood still no more.
Any cat just had to wonder what unusual event had just occurred -it was not a storm of any kind, nor was it like the eclipse that happened once every 1200 moons; no, only Moonfire knew -it was a sign from StarClan.
SLASHSNOW
I decide that none can help me ease this suffering, and I shall ease it myself -don't worry, I live.
The wind blew cold, wrapped around her like the death choke of a snake, and the days grew shorter and shorter by the hour. He would not look at her, she was not important, not anymore, not at all; but she had to be strong. It was decided. She could not go weeping around like the willows in RiverClan, and she would not get cold and hard like those of ShadowClan; She would not run from her feelings like WindClan, no, she was a ThunderClan warrior, proud and noble, and not going to get a bit of a love drama in her way. She would miss him, she would miss him like he was part of her, for he was all in all, but he was not part of her soul. She would not loose herself over some stupid melodrama. It was decided.
The wind blew even colder and the sky grew dark and flashed like how she saw her love. The tears stood in her eyes as she imaged the life she was leaving behind; and then it came to her. The sky went completely dark and a voice called to her through the wind. Perhaps she would not leave him behind after all.
