[glow=orange,2,300]FLAMEPAW[/glow] .:The Fight To Death:. The cold night did not reach Flamepaw, for he was the fire in the forest, the untouchable whip. His tail lashed out at any vine that got in his way, not bothering to dodge them. His eyes were narrowed and glowed throughout the darkened night. His ginger pelt rustled at the slightest breeze, and when you watched him, you would see no purpose in his step. His hidden feelings, hidden inside himself. As he trekked through the IvyClan terrain, he sought only one purpose ~ to train, but as destiny awaits, he was there for another reason, a reason that he might expect himself. But for his mask hid his face well, you could not see it. 'There is a hard task ahead, Flamepaw,' meowed a shadowy figure, it's presence wrapped around him, filling his nose and mouth. He recognized it immediately. "Hawkfrost," he growled quietly, acknowledging that the dark tabby was there. The icy blue eyes peered out from the darkness, 'Remember, expect the unexpected and..' "Unexpected it will not be," Flamepaw finished quietly, "Hawkfrost, why remind me this, I have lived by that rule even before you came to me two days ago, do you think that I would that easily forget it?" 'I can never tell with you, Flamepaw, remember I am the key to your greatness! Don't forget...don't forget..' Hawkfrost's voice faded away to the shadows, but he could still feel his dark presence there. What was this interest all of the sudden? Hawkfrost was only there to train and to teach, he didn't teach much though, Strickenshadow taught the strategy, but Hawkfrost helped too.
One thing that Hawkfrost had said had caught his attention 'I am the key to your greatness' Was he really the key? He had actually all along hated this extra help, 'great' as it was, he felt like he was stupid. But, he did want power, and with power came sacrifices. Why did Hawkfrost have to come to him anyway? There where plenty of IvyClan cats with ambitions like his. So why him?
Windpaw had avoided him lately, like he was nervous about something. But besides that, he was his the same old cat, just a cat that avoided him. No, he didn't really care, but sometimes it was nice to have a cat to stick by his side. There was something going on with Windpaw, but he wouldn't pry, yet. He sensed that it was something important, but at the moment he had no time to confront his friend. The white tom had a fidgety look about him, that only he could see, for even his friend, he was his brother too. Every morning when he woke up, he would see Windpaw's nest cold. Just one time he had woken up to train early, Windpaw was already out of his nest. Any normal cat would have curiosity gnawing at their insides to find out what he was doing, but he let Windpaw have his space for the time being.
As he padded toward the SnakeClan border, he felt a presence behind him, quickly, he dodged and turned to look at the attacker, and as he saw the face of his brother, he realized that next time, he might not be so lucky..... _______________________________

WINDPAW
Windpaw was padding alone on a border patrol near SnakeClan. He hoped to see Eveningpaw there, but instead saw Tigerstar appearing out of the shadows. "Windpaw, you haven't been seeing Eveningpaw lately because Flamepaw killed her." He said darkly. "What?! I'll kill that fox-hearted murderer!" Windpaw yowled. He raced past Tigerstar's shadow as it faded from view. He ran up to where Flamepaw was. "You murderer! How could you?!" he screeched at him, and Tigerstar reappeared at his side. "Frontal paw strike now." Tigerstar advised, and Windpaw did this, raking his claws down Flamepaw's face. He was going to kill him. He realized that he loved Eveningpaw, and the fact that Flamepaw had murdered her infuriated him. He lashed out multiple times using the frontal paw strike, not caring if he missed or not, just wanting to lash out at his killer brother. "Dodge left, roll right." Windpaw didn't listen, so he repeated himself. "DODGE LEFT, ROLL RIGHT!" 'SHUT UP! I NEED TO CONCENTRATE!' Windpaw thought angrily. He saw no attack back, but when Flamepaw did he would follow Tigerstar's orders.
OOC: I would have made it longer, but I found it okay and I also g2g!

[glow=blue,2,300]EVENINGPAW[/glow] .:The Forest Calls To Me, and I Answer It In Song:. She stared out into the darkness, she felt like it was crushing her. She was trapped, her mind, her body. She felt awful, she knew it, she had greencough. One of the deadliest diseases for clan cat. Without a medicine cat, without a friend, she was stuck in this cave, alone. Her eyes stared seeing nothing. She was so cold! As she curled up in to a ball, she had one last thought, 'Windpaw, I didn't get to see him....," and then she drifted off into a troubled sleep.[glow=orange,2,300]FLAMEPAW[/glow] .:The Fight To Death:. "You murderer! How could you?!" he heard Windpaw screech. Murderer? What was Windpaw talking about? He hadn't murdered anyone yet, and why would Windpaw care? He most likely would praise him, there was something wrong - Windpaw, he thought, loved no body. He dodged Windpaw's first attack by a mousetail, but he may not be as lucky, pure hatred showed on his face, he usually didn't show this much hatred unless he was attacking a deadly enemy. Now, Flamepaw, was the deadly enemy, something he would not tolerate. 'I told you to expect the unexpected' He didn't have time to answer as Windpaw blindly tried to rake his claws down his face, missing by a hair, but catching him in the ear. He had 'naught a chance of beating this apprentice, for he was almost old enough to become a warrior, but he had something that Windpaw didn't; his strategies and......he admitted reluctantly - Hawkfrost.
'Swing Slash now, Flamepaw, Swing Slash!' Flamepaw ignored him. "No!" Flamepaw meowed silently trying to dodge Windpaw's attacks one by one, "I need to wait......Windpaw," he growled furiously, outload this time, "Can you at least tell me what we are fighting for? 'Don't ask questions during a fight!' Hawkfrost hissed, 'You don't want to get distracted!' "You know as well as I," he thought, "That I am not that easily distracted!"
Eyes narrowed, and paws extended, he jumped upon Windpaw's back, clinging on as tightly as he could. The only move that would be disable him, would be the flip twist, but Windpaw didn't know that, he wasn't being trained by the dark forest cats... _____________________________
OOC: Or so he thought! LOL

WINDPAW
Windpaw's attacks kept missing, but he felt one snag Flamepaw's ear. Then, Flamepaw jumped on his back, and Windpaw didn't know what to do. Then Tigerstar angrily yelled at him, "Flip twist now!" "DIE FLAMEPAW!" Windpaw yowled before flip twisting Flamepaw off of his back and on to the earth below. "Aim fouler! Aim fouler!" Tigerstar snarled as he appeared to be looking at nothing. Windpaw leapt into the air, rolling left, then right to foul Flamepaw's aim, then landing lightly and leaping onto Flamepaw's back, adding weight to Flamepaw's back legs so that he would eventually fall and Windpaw could use the killing blow on the murderer of the cat he loved.

[glow=orange,2,300]FLAMEPAW[/glow] .:The Fight To Death:. "Die, Flamepaw!" Windpaw screeched wildly, his paws flailing Flamepaw glanced down at him, expecting him to be shaking with fury, instead, he did the last thing that Flamepaw thought him capable of doing - he performed a flip twist. It was the move no cat knew beside him, the dark one with the amber eyes and the stick tail. Now, this haughty apprentice, a to-be warrior soon, one of his only friends, attacks him out of nowhere, with a move only know by the dark forest cats. A move that no cat could think of by himself, a move that was 'sacred' to the well-be-know Tigerstar and his followers. A move of pure darkness.
Caught by surprise, Flamepaw was flung off of Windpaw's back. 'Always expect the unexpected....' Hawkfrost meowed, his eyes blazing. 'You knew about this!' Flamepaw silently accused, 'And yet you told me nothing!' 'Ahh, young warrior, but that would ruin the surprise that I have layed out for you all so very carefully,' the dark shadow murmured, amber gazing out at him. 'Hawkfrost-' but he 'naught a chance to finish for Windpaw had attacked him once again. Fending for himself against the bigger opponent, he communication with the dark tabby seemed impossible, but of course, would you underestimate Flamepaw that much?
He turned toward Hawkfrost, his gleaming amber eyes stared back at him with satisfaction. Eyes narrowed, he swept away, trying to bowl over Windpaw once again. He turned back toward Hawkfrost once again to get a quick look for what he was doing, and saw his own eyes staring back at him.....wait.... Amber eyes? Hawkfrost didn't have amber eyes, his eyes were blue! And then it hit him, his stupidity would make him the laughing stock of the clan next to Windpaw if they ever found out. His eyes narrowed with fury at what game Tigerstar had put them up to. Yes, Tigerstar.
Tigerstar had shown himself.
He wanted to kick himself for falling for such an obvious trick, it was like he was a helpless kit all over again, not knowing when someone was making fun of you or not. "Windpaw!" he meowed, dodging his blind attacks left and right. He knew that he was angered by something, something that was, what was the word? - important to him...something that he..... loved. It was lucky though, just aiming his attacks, Windpaw wasn't paying attention to where he was trying to hit, he just swiped with no strategy at all. There was still some hope of beating him; but he didn't want to beat him at the moment, he might need him, besides, he admitted most undignified, he was is only friend. "Windpaw!" he meowed, eyes narrowed, "Listen to me, to you want to be somebody's pawn? Because that is what we are here for! This is a game, I have no idea who taught you that, but I have a theory! Now stop this nonsense, who the heck died?!?" ______________________
OOC: you can stop him if you want, or u can choose to ignore him, lol. At some point though, Tiger or hawk will interrupt.

WINDPAW
Windpaw lashed out in fury as Flamepaw slammed into the dark earth below. He blindly attacked left and right, then barely heard Flamepaw say, "Windpaw! Listen to me, to you want to be somebody's pawn? Because that is what we are here for! This is a game, I have no idea who taught you that, but I have a theory! Now stop this nonsense, who the heck died?!?" Windpaw caught himself in his attacks. He saw before him a tom he knew far too well, with his blazing blue eyes filled with evil. Hawkfrost. Flamepaw was being taught by Hawkfrost.
Windpaw retreated from Flamepaw, eyes wide in surprise. "Tigerstar...has used me..." Windpaw spoke softly, his tone hiding his fury. How dare Tigerstar, one of the cats he felt closest to, betray him like this? Use him to kill Flamepaw? Why would he want Flamepaw dead? But another question of Flamepaw's was nagging at him. Could he tell him the probable lie that Eveningpaw had died? No. It was unimportant now. "No one of importance. A lie....from Tigerstar. Just some cat..." Windpaw stated, his voice the consistency of stone. Windpaw knew that the odds of Flamepaw believing him were slim, but he did not care. Flamepaw could never know about Eveningpaw, no matter what.

[glow=orange,2,300]FLAMEPAW[/glow] .:The Fight To Death:. "Tigerstar...has used me...," Windpaw seemed so shocked, well duh, isn't that what Tigerstar is know for? But he kept his stone-face and nodded, "Living your life as a pawn for Tigerstar is not going to help you in life, all he wants is power from you..," why was he telling Windpaw this? He was sure he already knew, i mean, Windpaw was almost a warrior.
Anyway, who was this cat that he was fighting for? Windpaw glanced at him, and seemed to read his mind, "No one of importance. A lie....from Tigerstar. Just some cat...," yes, some cat that was of no importance, what a lie, Windpaw could do better, but maybe that was an influence from Tigerstar where he got his attitude. "Okay, Windpaw," if that's what you like, but I will find out anyway... 'Of course you will,' Hawkfrost meowed, 'of course, with my help,' "I never wanted your help, Hawkfrost," he told him with an edge to his voice. Hawkfrost ignored him and meowed outloud, "So.., Windpaw," the meowed disapprovingly, a shadowy figure, "I finally have the ...pleasure... of meeting you. Sad, I thought you would be a bit better than this!" He cast a sideways glance at his father, "I mean, Tigerstar is the best teacher, or do you not understand what he's saying?" His amber eyes flashed, Flamepaw cast a glance toward Hawkfrost, what was he doing? Though, he thought, Windpaw had performed pretty poorly, he must care very much for this cat, which brought him back to the subject of -Who was this cat? ___________________
OCC: yeah, am i aloud to do that? Can i rp Hawk like that? lolz, Hawk is an evil kitty!

WINDPAW
Windpaw saw Flamepaw's face change. He would find out, that he knew. But he had to keep it hidden, for as long as possible. Hawkfrost snarled something at him, but Windpaw ignored it and said, "Go to hell, Hawkfrost. Where you came from." Hawkfrost faded from his view, and so did Tigerstar. Windpaw now suddenly realized the reality of his situation, that Flamepaw and Windpaw were brothers. Windpaw had just triend to kill his family. "You...are my brother....the odds....wow." Windpaw stammered, still dizzy from the realization. "We have some catching up to do, don't we?"

[glow=orange,2,300]FLAMEPAW[/glow] .:The Fight to Death, And Ever After:. -I fight my smile-
Half excited, half contemptible, Flamepaw acknowledged Windpaw with a rare smile. This was a smile that the cats had all thought would make the she-cats bow down to him, fainting from the beauty. And that was why he never smiled. He didn't want attention. But he did have to admit, and so it was true, that is smile was truly dazzling, and it showed a side to him that was truly powerful without him knowing it. When he smiled as he did then, it made him look as if he had no care in the world, and would lift the burden of anything off any cat's shoulders. Regretfully, he sometimes forgot not to smile 'nicely' and was given a ton of attention for it, even the IvyClan cats would usually always look toward him for a hint of a smile.
He quickly frowned, he did not mean to do that, "I am honored to call myself your brother, Windpaw," he meowed a bit too formally. He grinned in an devilish looking way, and did not smile.
-And bruise his soul-

WINDPAW
I FIGHT TO LIVE
Flamepaw smiled. It was eerily dazzling, with white teeth that sparkled silver. Windpaw blinked away the image and returned to the thought at hand. "And I am glad to be your brother. Now can we skip the bonding exercise and get rid of that stink? It isn't fox or badger, but still." Windpaw stated. The smell couldn't be another animal or anything, so could it be another Clan? Well, they would find out.
AND LIVE TO FIGHT

[glow=orange,2,300]FLAMEPAW[/glow] .:The Fight to Death, And Ever After:. -Discrase....-Ah, yes, back to the point. The smell, Windpaw was right, he didn't know what smelled worse, dung -or SnakeClan. His nose flared as he sniffed the foul smelling oder, most likely fox and badger dung, or a SnakeClan kit who forgot that he was supposed to go in the dirtplace. He sneered, SnakeClan was just a bunch of kittypets that looked like warriors, they had no stamina or any real threat to his clan, and certainly not him. Maybe to one or two of the cats in his clan, but those cats were wrong, demented. He pitied the cats that bore them, it was a waste of time coming into this life, if nothing you could do was just sit and stare, or be happy every single moon. He thought of Echospirit, a cowardly cat, got herself killed that one did. She was always so happy, and made the IvyClan cats look weak, gullible and friendly.
He looked toward Windpaw, and sneered, "It smells like a SnakeClan apprentice missed the dirtplace," he meowed with contempt in his voice, "It's sad that all SnakeClan cats can't even direct themselves there!" He sniffed once more, and was hit by the truth, "CloudClan," he corrected himself, "Yes, CloudClan," he sniffed again and shrugged his shoulders, "They all smell bad, though SnakeClan cats smell the worst."
- And Vermin-
OOC: I am not stupid anymore! ;D XD
