Can we go Hunting NOW?

"Seastar?" called the small apprentice as she wandered towards her leader's den. "Can we go hunting or something? It seems as though the fresh kill pile is a bit low right now. I think Sunpaw wanted to come too."

With all of the tension going about in Seastar's life, she had forgotten about her apprentice, Dewpaw. With any luck, Dewpaw wouldn't hate her for not taking her out these past couple days. But, Seastar had an excuse.

"Seastar? Can we go hunting or something? It seems as though the fresh kill pile is a bit low right now. I think Sunpaw wanted to come too." Dewpaw called from outside her den. Speak of the badger. She thought.

"I'm sorry for neglecting my duties as your mentor Dewpaw. Of course we can go hunting!" Seastar was oddly cheerful, as if a brisk hunting patrol in the evergreen wood was exactly what she needed. "Sunpaw can come to I suppose. Just be sure to ask her mentor if she wants to come with us too. The more hunters the more plentiful prey we'll get!" Seastar walked over to the entrance of the camp and waited for her apprentice to ask Sunpaw's mentor to go with them.

Eager to go hunting, Dewpaw became extremely excited. She couldn't wait to catch kill, and watch the clan as they sink their teeth into the kill that Dewpaw herself had caught.

"I'm sorry for neglecting my duties as your mentor, Dewpaw. Of course we can go hunting!" cheered Seastar. Happy as a newborn kit, and as hyper as a squirrel, Dewpaw knew she should probably keep quiet, and patient.

"I'll go and get Spottedwing," said Sunpaw.
Sunpaw walked over to the warriors den, and peered inside to find Spottedwing. She's not here thought Sunpaw. But this place sure looks cozy! Sunpaw looked, and saw Spottedwing picking a piece of kill from the small pile. Henceforth, she padded over, and greeted Spottedwing.
"Hi Spottedwing! Me, Dewpaw, and Seastar were going to go hunting. Did you want to come?" asked Sunpaw.
