DUSKWING
Duskwing sighed. The training session had been rough, and slightly fun, but now it was over and she was bored. She had plucked a scrawny robin and carefully removed the feathers, unlike some toms she knew. She was still hungry, but didn't really care, so she padded off into her den, which unfortunately, was excluded from ever being in the middle. She had to sleep in the far corner, away from everyone's warm pelts. She was just about to fall into sleep when her rather sensitive ears heard yelling. She raced off into the direction of the yelling, fearing an intruder or badger. She completely forgot about her tiredness and hunger, mostly because the cries were Iceglade's; one of her only friends in this Clan....no. Her Clan. She shook away the thought of running through IvyClan hunting grounds as an apprentice and returned to the thought of Iceglade in trouble. But it was too late. The frosty forest of pines that was now very familiar to Duskwing had melded before her eyes into a forest of ivy. Duskwing couldn't stop staring. Silentstar stood proudly on top of an ivy-encrusted tree, glaring at her. Duskwing stopped and closed her eyes. What Duskwing's mind thought what Silentstar was said, "Welcome home, traitor!"
"No," Duskwing said furiously, "You aren't real. YOU AREN'T REAL!" The scene faded, and Duskwing was in the pine forest once more. She stood, horrified at what she had seen for a long time before another cry was heard. Iceglade's again. She raced off once more, the vision she had seen expertly hidden on her face, which held the expression of determination and fury. She burst into the clearing, where she found it was empty. It was the wrong clearing. She didn't know the FrostClan hunting grounds as well as she thought. She cursed herself for being so ignorant, and ran forward to try to catch Iceglade. She tripped and smashed her head into a rock, and the world faded away, replaced only by darkness.
Duskwing awoke back in the imaginary IvyClan hunting grounds. She was being taken hostage by two apprentices, but she couldn't move or try to stop them. Silentstar was there again, glaring at her, and when he turned his head, the apprentices turned her. Horror struck Duskwing's face, but she couldn't do anything about it. There were dead cats everywhere, and when they weren't dead, they were fighting, shedding blood, and dying. Duskwing could do nothing about the horrible fighting, until the last cat stood, covered in blood and scars. It was Seastar. And as Seastar fell, all hope drained out of her until she tore apart the very scene she was in and it faded to blankness. The blankness became FrostClan again, but an aerial view of it. She was a hawk, easily flying over FrostClan in it's greatness. FrostClan was beautiful from the sky. But her broad eagle wings faded over IvyClan and she was falling...falling....until blackness hit her again and the world went dark.
OOC: Someone please tell me if they think that I'm talking for Silentstar. I'm not. It's what Duskwing's mind is thinking of, and that is what her mind thinks of Silentstar. Wow....longest post EVER!
