Spottedwing lifted up her head from her paws. The sun was luxuriously warm on her pelt. Spottedwing noticed a smell in the air, it was a different scent. Oh! It was the new warrior Iceglade. She was a pretty she-cat. She seemed nice to be around. Spottedwing got up from her warm spot and trotted over to the warrior. "Hello! I'm Spottedwing. Nice day today isn't it?" Spottedwing inquired. She turned her head sideways as if the world went loopy. This was Spottedwing's way of trying to make a question out of a gesture. She would always turn her head after a question. It was just a quirky thing she always did. "So," She continued. "Do you like any of the toms?"

As she yawned and stretched, it suddenly dawned on her that she was sleeping in the warriors den. The warriors den! She let her senses flow; there were a lot of new scents she hadn't ever sensed before. An older cat walked up to her,"Hello! I'm Spottedwing. Nice day today isn't it?" the she-cat inquired. Spottedwing turned her head sideways as if Iceglade just turned upsidedown, "So, like any of the new toms?"
"Uh!" Iceglade was startled, what was she supposed to say? "Uh?" she let a out a mrrow of laughter to cover her embarrassment, "No way, who needs toms?" she joked.

Spottedwing

Spottedwing just laughed. "Yeah, I guess in a way you're right." Spottedwing sat next to the younger warrior. "But I would like to have a loving mate. And have kits." Spottedwing gazed into the distance. I wonder if Woodstripes will be alive and able to have kits? What if she's paralyzed?! Spottedwing shook the thought out of her head. "So how was your first night in the den? It's better when you're a senior warrior though," Spottedwing winked at Iceglade. " It's warmer in the middle where they sleep." Spottedwing laughed.

"Yes...kits would be nice.." she meowed slowly, "But as for a mate, I would only want a mate that would be true to me, you know?" then she fell silent, embarrassed, OH!!! She said too much! Would she think she was selfish?
Spottedwing continued,, phew, maybe she didn't hear her!
"It's only warmer there because..because..." she wanted to make a funny joke, but she couldn't think of one,!
"Because..." Oh great! she screwed up again!!!!!!!!

"Just relax." Spottedwing said. "You don't have to try to please me." Spottedwing laid her tail on the younger warriors shoulder. "You should get to know some of the toms. Some of them are wonderful and nice." Spottedwing smiled encouragement to her. "Want to go on a walk? Or a hunting trip with me?" Spottedwing asked.

Immediately, she relaxed, she liked this cat a lot.
"Sure, I'll go on a patrol with you! ^^ We should ask Cedarwing though...."
"Let's eat first! I'm starving! ^^

Spottedwing

Spottedwing stood, "It's just a walk. We don't have to ask Cedarwing. And if we're hunting, we don't have to tell them that either. They'll just think we're bothering them." Spottedwing rolled her eyes and the thought of this young cat boring someone! Honestly! The senior warriors should have more respect for the younger ones. Spottedwing got a raven from the fresh-kill pile and took it over to Iceglade. "Do you like bird?" She said through a mouthful of feathers.

"I love ravens!,"
Ugh! She didn't want to tell Spottedwing how much she hated birds!!!! They were disgusting and all of the feathers stuck to the top of your mouth! Ick!
She tried not to wrinkle her nose as she bent down to take a bite.
"Um-mm! Yum!" she meowed, slowly and haltingly. As she took another bit, she realized it wasn't as bad as she remembered it! It still wasn't her favorite either though, "Want some?"

Spottedwing

Spottedwing dug into the bird. It wasn't her favorite, her favorite was mouse. Yummy, juicy mouse! But the hunting patrol hasn't gone out yet so they had to eat yesterday's catch. It was cold, but it satisfied the hunger. After finishing the meal and thanking StarClan for it. The two she-cats headed out into the forest to hunt. Spottedwing sniffed the air and smelled the most wonderful smell to a FrostClan cat. Big, and yummy! Rabbit! She sniffed the air. And much to her surprise, two rabbits!! Spottedwing flicked her tail to the other side of the bush. She would surprise the rabbits, she herself would catch one while the other would run off into Iceglade. A perfect plan!

As she was trotting along, she smelled rabbit As soon as she realized this, Spottedwing flicked her tail toward a bush where they were hiding, she signaled a few things with her tail and bent around to scare them out.
Perfect plan!
As she bent down to get ready to catch one, she scented something else....she couldn't really understand what it was though...it was some sort of scent. It made it harder because it was downwind.
First things first! she thought, catch the Rabbit! And with that, she lunged!

Spottedwing

Spottedwing lunged at the rabbit that ran towards her. It gave chase, but Spottedwing knew these woods. A creak ran along the territory here. The rabbit would have to make a detour or jump the creak which in this season was flooded and according to her fellow clan mate, rancid. The rabbit ran, the creak was in view. As Spottedwing kicked it up a notch the rabbit made a sharp, right turn and ran straight into Spottedwing. Spottedwing dug her claws into the soft fur. She nipped the rabbit's neck and head back to were Iceglade should be with her bounty.

As she leaped, she saw Spottedwing heading toward the river in pursuit of another rabbit. As she quickly caught the other rabbit, she silently followed after Spottedwing.
Wait! the scent was still there, she turned around, bristling,
"Who dare to enter FrostClan territory uninvited? Show yourself!" she saw a black head bobbing under a bush, she was about to attack, but then she had an idea! She quickly stood up, "I don't smell it anymore!" she meowed out loud, she calmly but quickly walked toward the place where Spottedwing lay, awaiting for her return.
She spotted Spottedwing, "Spottedwing," she whispered, for the black cat to low to hear, "There is a black cat following me, do you want me to attack it?
