Renewing Applications?

I thought it would be a good idea if at one point--probably only once--we could renew our old applications for at least some of our cats. Renew as in making a new application for an already accepted cat. Like if our apprentices become warriors, their appearances or personalities change, or if the original application isn't very detailed. Take my application for Stormleaf: I made it when I wasn't very experienced, and I'm not very satisfied with it. I mean, his personality, history, and appearance are hardly two sentences! I can see how you can modify it (if the application hasn't been locked) if all you had to do was tweak it a little, but I'm talking about major changes.

I thought it would be an interesting idea (I think I've become a bit of a perfectionist XD), but it might be too much work for all you admins out there--like the question of what we would do with the old applications), so I don't know. I'd like to hear your opinions! ;D

Haha! It's okay ^^ I'm a perfectionist to Go ahead and just modify it. It'll get WAY to confusing to make a whole new thread. No one will really notice the change besides yourself since your most likely the only one who will ever read it often. lol! Go ahead an just modify it all. ^^

I agree with you, actually, Sunrise :) I didn't really have a good idea of my less-used cats' personalities when I wrote them (bad idea) and to be honest, until the exams are over I don't want to touch any of them with a barge pole. Two of my cats being adopted, I don't think I should give them a going-over without the agreement of the people who wrote them ^^;

That having been said, once we have time (holidays of three months to be exact :D! *Parties briefly in the privacy of her mind*), I reckon it's a great idea to give them an overhaul. Even if you don't want to give them a complete overhaul, updating their history is pretty important.
If we get any new members, they may read through existing profiles rather than examining every thread, so doing this might help to keep everything up-to-date.

Oh, and I may need to go and unlock all the applications. To anyone who takes this as an invitation to start posting weird stuff on the bios DO NOT. Or I will withhold the cookies. XP

Same here. I need to fix Raccoonstar's jumbled up mess. Or at LEAST put it into the third person. Haha...memories. I did two posts that put Raccoonstar in the first person. His app and one post in the First Gathering. One post! There were two posts that I did, and it was rather confusing because my style of writing changed between the posts. I'm such a confusing person. X3 *Dances around in a circle while holding The Sims 3 even though it doesn't work on her VERY old computer, then sulks about it while complaining that Windows XP sucks*
