Despite the venomous name, SnakeClan are a hard-working and noble group of cats who appreciate that work is as important as play. Their camp is made on a rocky plateau that gets most of the sun, so the rocks are often hot in greenleaf and must be cooled with water from a spring nearby. Night-time is their most favoured time to come out; the rest of their territory is plains-land, and so night is their best chance of cover. Also, the elders like to lie on the warm rocks and tell stories under the stars. Strangely, the clan have also developed a fondness for song, so names like 'Larkcry' or 'Windsong' are not uncommon, despite them not having many birds in their territory.
