DUSKWING
Duskwing padded over to Seastar's den. "Seastar?" Duskwing softly spoke. "Um, I think I need to learn some battle moves from FrostClan...because there might be a war and all....so could you take me to the training grounds and help me learn FrostClan's fighting style?" Duskwing felt rather embarrassed, she thought that having to learn fighting moves as a full grown warrior was rather embarrassing. but she knew she had to, so she hoped Seastar would say yes.

Seastar ~The sun glinted in her eyes. Bright and warm it was. Seastar lifted her head for a scent. Nothing. She moved from the evergreen forest that was covered in a blanket of snow. Snow? But it's greenleaf. Then in the corner of her eye a white pelt flickered. Almost invisible with the sun bouncing off from it. The rabbit was nibbling at a pine cone. Almost oblivious to the fact that death was very near. Seastar lowered into a crouch, belly fur brushing the snow, but it was hard packed. Almost like it was made from stone...She leaped and landed square on the rabbit. It didn't fight, in fact it turned to her and with a nervous voice asked, "Seastar? Um, I think I need to learn some battle moves from FrostClan..." With a yelp she ran from the rabbit, and it gave chase to her. A cliff appeared just ahead of her. She knew it was there, and she tried to stop. But it was like her body wasn't her own and she ran, head first off the cliff. Falling, falling...falling far into the cavern. Then a few tail lengths from the ground, darkness. ~ Seastar awoke with a jolt. Fear coursing through her veins like acid. A figure stood in front of her, a she-cat. But not built like a FrostClan cat. "...because there might be a war and all....so could you take me to the training grounds and help me learn FrostClan's fighting style?" So this was what the rabbit was saying. The rabbit was Duskwing. "Fine." She said. Seastar stretched every muscle in her entire body. From the tip of her tail, to sheathing and unsheathing her deadly sharp claws. "but I can't guarantee that you will be able to learn them." Seastar walked with Duskwing, who was only a few paces behind her, to FrostClan's training grounds.

DUSKWING
"Thanks Seastar!" Duskwing cheered. Together they padded up to the training grounds. "So...what do we start with?" Duskwing stated eagerly.

Seastar Seastar thought for a moment. She could learn something from this young, and inexperienced warrior. IvyClan fighting moves. And Seastar would learn them fervently. "We'll just see what you can do first. Pretend that I'm your enemy and I'm on your territory. I've stolen prey and I'm getting ready to attack you." Seastar set herself for a fight, then leaped high into the air on Duskwing's back. She made sure that all her weight was on her right shoulder, so she would fall to her right and leave her underbelly exposed. But surely she won't take the bait will she? Seastar jumped as soon as she fell and went in for the "kill". Seastar stopped with her teeth around her neck. "Gotcha." She stated.

DUSKWING
Duskwing saw that all of Seastar's weight was on her right shoulder, but Seastar was far too quick and pinned her down. "Yes. You got me." Duskwing said. They both got up, and like an apprentice, she copied the move over and over until it was battle-ready. "Thanks for teaching me, Seastar." Duskwing stated calmly when the move was finished.

Seastar Seastar silently watched Duskwing as she practiced Seastar's pin-down. She was impressed that Duskwing could learn so quickly. Now Seastar would be the student, and the master would be Duskwing. "Duskwing?" She asked. "I know you just left your clan a moon ago, but could you do me a favor? Can you teach me some IvyClan moves? That would give FrostClan a huge advantage over those mange-pelts." Seastar stated. She really hoped Duskwing had fully left IvyClan. Not just her body leaving, but her mind and soul too.

DUSKWING
Duskwing momentarily thought, but of the move, not of her abandoned Clan. "Let's try this." Duskwing then leaped higher then even she thought possible, and then rolled to the left, then the right, fouling Seastar's aim. She finally landed lightly on the ground, and with Seastar's aim fouled, she rolled under Seastar and tripped her, rolling once more to land lightly on top of Seastar, and pinned her. She quickly let go, and explained, "That is what IvyClan called the 'Aim fouler.' It is a fairly hard move to learn, but it is very effective."

Seastar Seastar watched as Duskwing leaped into the air and moved in mid air, twice! To the left, then the right. Just when Seastar thought she had a good aim, Duskwing moved again but this time she landed first before moving. Seastar's world turned to the right and she had the weird sensation of falling. Which is exactly what she was doing. Seastar was pinned to the ground for a split second but Duskwing let her up. Seastar was unprepared. All of Duskwing's movements were 'airy' there wasn't much force in the blows. But the objective of the move wasn't to harm the cat, it was to unbalance her. "Again." Seastar huffed. She was ready this time. she would carefully observe Duskwing's movement. There was a folly in them, and Seastar wasn't just known for her fighting skills, but for her ability to observe them before they happened.

DUSKWING Duskwing obeyed, leaping again and rolled to the right and left, then landed lightly and trying to pin Seastar to the ground, repeated the move exactly how she started it. She found herself in the same position as before, and removed herself from there, jumping backwards. OOC: it's so short...but i couldnt think of anything else

Seastar Seastar knew what Duskwing was aiming for, her right side. If you payed any attention to Duskwing she first rolled right then left. Duskwing will roll once more and try to topple Seastar but Seastar was ready. Duskwing landed on her right but Seastar used her pin-down but only half of it. Duskwing was already on the ground and was rolling to the right. Seastar hopped onto Duskwing's back and sat on her left shoulder then put all of her weight on the she-cat. Duskwing couldn't get up, Seastar put her teeth to her neck. "Next," she breathed.

DUSKWING
Duskwing saw her counter her own move, and got up. "Okay. Here's another one." she said, and proceded to do the move. Duskwing jumped to the left, and when Seastar aimed there, she barrel rolled to the right, then jumped over her and landed lightly (she wasn't going to hurt her leader) on her back, then twisted so that Seastar couldn't move. She quickly got up so as not to hurt Seastar, and then cooly stated, "That is what IvyClan calls the 'barrel roll twist.' It's not a common move used, but when used in battle, it can be fatal." Duskwing knew that Seastar would ask her to do it again, so she got ready to repeat the move. Seastar was good at plotting these moves before they happened, and Duskwing respected that.

Seastar Seastar watched intently as Duskwing performed her 'barrel roll twist'. Do all IvyClan moves involve a fake move? This repeatability...it's faulty! Seastar nodded for Duskwing to show her another move. After this one move Seastar would teach Duskwing Seastar's own move she made up. And it's dangerous. 'The Sea's Star'

DUSKWING
Duskwing realized that she was only using the fake-out moves that she had learned. This time, she charged head-on, then leaped and fell on Seastar's back, heavier than she would have liked. She then added more weight onto Seastar's back legs, forcing her to fall, so that Duskwing could lightly put her jaws around Seastar's scruff. She quickly leapt away, saying softly, "That's called the 'charge and leap.' That's the harder IvyClan moves I've been taught." Duskwing knew that this was a lie, but she didn't dare use Silentstar's signature move. The 'silent swipe' was incredibly dangerous, and always fatal. Most cats couldn't control it, but a select few had been taught to. This had included most of the warriors of that time, and Duskwing, when she was just Duskpaw, spied on the lessons, and was taught them herself. She never used it, it was an evil move, but today she feared she might have to show it.

Seastar Seastar stayed where she was as Duskwing leaped onto her back and made Seastar fall heavily. Seastar could've flipped her off quite easily but she didn't want to hurt Duskwing's pride. Seastar remembered the simple and humble days as a warrior. Seafeather (as she was called then.) Seafeather was very young when she was given her first apprentice. Oh how young she was! Seafeather had wanted nothing more than a mate. But she had to let that mirage go when StarClan called her to be the next leader of FrostClan. Seastar shook her head to bring her back to the present. "It's my turn to be the mentor now." She laughed. I am going to teach you my signature move "The Sea's Star". It is very dangerous and should never be used unless you wish to murder someone." Seastar waited for a nod of encouragement from Duskwing. And suddenly Seastar thought that this would be to much for a newcomer. "As you go through life you'll see There is so much that we Don't understand" Seastar began the unknown song that very few ever learned. Seastar's voice was clear and fluid. Like the trickle of water in a stream, high, clear and melodic. She continued in the same fashion. "And the only thing we know Is things don't always go The way we planned
But you'll see every day That we'll never turn away When it seems all your dreams come undone
We will stand by your side Filled with hope and filled with pride We are more than we are We are one"
Seastar stopped before continuing the song. Hopefully Duskwing would realize what she was singing. You are not alone, no matter where you are others are always behind you. We are one. OOC: The song is "We Are One" from Lion King 2: Simba's Pride. Yes I've been watching the Lion King movies! XD I loves them! ^^ *huggles movie* And YES a FrostClan cat is singing. Just because SnakeClan is the designated singer clan doesn't mean that others can't sing. It's just very rare that other cats in different clans can sing. Seastar is one of the very few. Now don't go and make cats that can sing all of the time. Seastar and Skyleaf are my only ones that i let sing because I enjoy singing in real life.

DUSKWING
Duskwing nodded. The 'Sea's Star' sounded like a useful move on a fox or badger or even an offending rogue. Then Seastar began singing. Singing? Duskwing swayed slowly to the beat of the song, harmonizing quietly to herself on the last line. We are one....I am not alone... Duskwing thought. She smiled at the end, knowing that she was in FrostClan now, and had no intention of returning to IvyClan. Ever. Or at least not with Silentstar leading.
