Seastar Seastar swished her tail. They moved onward into the clearing of the Great Hollow. FrostClan cats flooded the clearing. They were the first here. Hmm...otherclans must be running late. The moon was full, no clouds in the sky. But there may be some later on. Seastar knew StarClan was going to get angry tonight. she had some unfinished business to do with Silentstar. Seastar leaped delicately onto a wide branch of the Great Sycamore. Spottedwing Spottedwing followed her leader. Her punishment had already happened. One moon of taking care of the elders, and only her. The apprentices were on leave for that duty and was sad when they began again. Spottedwing lifted her head high. They were the first here. Spottedwing would eagerly avoid Woodstripes. Then, a scent hit her. IvyClan! They were on the other side of the brush.

Silentstar [/b] Silentstar ran through the foliage. The world was a blur around him as he and his clan tore through the forest. They were all silent, and grim. They knew Frostclan would accuse them of their recent attack. Silentstar had his arguement ready. He ran it through his head once more.
"My Clan and I have done no such act. Prove it. Were there any scents from IvyClan? No? Then we mustn't have done this. This is the first time we've heard of this horrible coincidence."
Silentstar had his jaw set in a tight line. He hadn't seen Duskwing for a while. And he was pretty sure why. If she is found in FrostClan, Silentstar will use the shock of their act to his advantage, and scare the other clans into leaving them alone.
Silentstar glanced over his shoulder, and saw all of his warrior, ready to serve their Clan. He felt sure of himself as he entered the clearing ,and saw FrostClan had arrived already. Silentstar narrowed his ice blue eyes, and padded up to his usual branch. His warriors sat on the other side of the clearing, well away from FrostClan and keeping to themselves.

Jadestar Jadestar led her cats into the clearing, feeling their anticipation. She had seen too many Gatherings to be especially excited about it. Even the thought of Silentstar creating drama did not spike her emotions. Shatteredstar had done enough of that to last a lifetime- and in Jadestar's case, two. As long as it didn't affect CloudClan, it didn't affect Jadestar. They finally reached the clearing. She had taken her time to try and teach her warrior to be patient. Of course, it hadn't worked. FrostClan was already there, and Jadestar joined Seastar. "Good evening." she meowed lightly. "How is FrostClan?" Cedarwing Cedarwing followed Seastar to the Gathering. He still wasn't feeling well from the poisoning. As soon as they arrived at the Great Sycamore, he quickly sat down in his usual spot and closed his eyes, waiting for the other clans to arrive. Cedarwing wanted to hear what Seastar would say to the scoundrels who had poisoned their water. They were going to pay. He couldn't believe that Duskwing had come to FrostClan camp. Cedarwing didn't open his eyes when he smelled the IvyClan cats coming- that was effort he didn't need to waste.

Seastar Jadestar jumped up on Seastar's branch. "Good evening." she meowed. "How is FrostClan?" When Seastar answered, she answered loudly. to make sure that Silentstar heard her well enough. "All is well in FrostClan. No lasting illnesses, prey is running well. How is CloudClan?" Seastar hopped that the older leader didn't think that Seastar thought she was deaf. So she just patiently listen to the older leader. Badgerface Badgerface and the rest of his clan sat on the opposite side of the clearing. Obviously wanting to be as far away from the FrostClan stench. Curious to see who came with them, he peeked at the FrostClan warriors. A few apprentices, and more warriors than anything else. Were they expecting something? He found a face in the crowd he recognized. A tortoiseshell face. Spottedwing! He glared at the she cat, hoping she would burn. Woodstripes nudged his shoulder to get his attention and they continued to ramble on. Spottedwing Spottedwing glanced around nervously. The IvyClan warriors looked as if they had ants in their fur. She felt liked she was being watched, she gazed at the warriors. She saw a black and white tom glaring at her. Badgerface! She quickly looked away hoping he didn't see. She'd had enough trouble without cats trying to burn their gaze through them!

Woodstripes [/b] Woodstripes looked around to see what badgerface was talking about. she then recognized the ugly spotted face that had almost mortally wounded her. Her fur bristled, and her eyes narrowed into dangerous slits.
"Spottedwing!" She hissed under her breath. She bared her teeth in the she-cat's direction. If this hadn't been a gathering, she would've punished the she-cat for what she had done. For now, Woodstripes contented herself with a silent glare. She brushed against Badgerface for comfort. Silentstar [/b] Silentstar glanced sideways at the two she-cats. He decided to play along with the obvious jab at his Clan. He sent them a chilling smile.
"That's good news to hear about FrostClan. I'd also like you to know that our warrior, Woodstripes, barely made a recovery, but by a miracle from StarClan, she's here with us today." Silentstar looked below, with mock relief in his eyes. "I'm so glad your warrior, Spottedwing, didn't kill our beloved Woodstripes. That would just break all of our hearts." He slid back into his original position, and was met by an annoyed look from Jadestar. "I'm sorry to interrupt, my dear," he meowed. "Please, do go on. This subject intrigues me."

Stormleaf
Stormleaf looked around as IvyClan arrived at the Gathering. Smokeleaf's not here, he observed, feeling a sharp pang in his conscience. Probably tending to the poisoned cats. He hoped, despite himself, that the poisoned cats would recover. Stormleaf didn't like seeing anycat get hurt, whether they were from IvyClan or not. He padded near the FrostClan cats, hoping to catch some information about their sick. "That's good news to hear about FrostClan. I'd also like you to know that our warrior, Woodstripes, barely made a recovery, but by a miracle from StarClan, she's here with us today." Stormleaf smirked at the tone of Silentstar's voice.
Thicketheart
Thicketheart sat apart from her clan, her tail curled around her paws. She wondered why the cats of FrostClan and IvyClan seemed so restless; it was a full moon, what was there to worry about? She frowned after Silentstar spoke. There must of been a fight between FrostClan and IvyClan, but that wasn't what sent her fur bristling. Silentstar's voice had a strain to it, as if he didn't care less about the wouned warrior's recovery.

Seastar "Ha!" Seastar snarrled in Silentstar's face. "By the way she's scowling at my warrior, it seems she has bee healed for a while. So shut your smart mouth and take what's been dealt you arrogant, flea-bitten pelt of a cat!" Seastar said this with no anger. She said it as if it were fact. By the scowl she earned from Silentstar, she knew she hit home. "My warriors are fine and healthy. Yes, we had a few sick cats. But no one died." She carried on. Willed by her silent anger. "Our warriors are strong and proud. "Even though they may not feel good, they come. No cowardliness! Unlike the cat who threw in the rat carcasses at night a few days ago." She read the surprise on his face. Even though he probably had his argument all figured out, he wasn't prepared for this. "That's right. We found them. And on each rat, eight cat size puncture wounds on the neck. All cat size bite marks. And they reeked of IvyClan." Seastar nodded to the leader. He would be surprised later on. Duskwing was just hidden in the Great Sycamore, and when Seastar called her out, Silentstar's planned sickness would be revealed and punished at last!

Silentstar [/b] Silentstar narrowed his eyes. They were as cold as ice chips. His ears lay flattened against his skull, and he turned to face the other clans.
"Her accusations... Are correct," Silentstar declared. "But, are we so cowardly, if we claim blame to the situation? Also, we were provoked into this light attack." He narrowed his eyes, glancing down at Spottedwing for a moment. "Let it be known that IvyClan will not tolerate any provoking, attacks, or tresspassery. This time, it was only four sick cats. Next time, who knows? Think wisely before you cross IvyClan's path."
With that, he jumped down, and strode towards the exit, motioning for his clan to follow. They sent poisonous glances to the other cats as they waled out. They all held their chins high, proud to be a warrior of IvyClan.
Silentstar called Badgerface and Woodstripes over once they were out of sight. "Stay behind, and listen for any important news. Do not be seen."

Badgerface Badgerface nodded. Silentstar would want to know if FrostClan accused them more. In Badgerface's opinion, he thought that Silentstar got what they deserved, but, so did FrostClan. The clan's were in a sort of stalemate. Him and Woodstripes hunkered into the low bushes behind the apprentices. They were young, and didn't know scent from scent. They would only know of a scent of a cat. Spottedwing Spottedwing glanced at the leaving leader. Seastar! Duskwing! She almost yelled out loud. But advised against it. She'd already ruined her leader's reputation once, she wouldn't do it again. She thought she heard a rousing of leaves behind her but ignored it. Seastar Seastar nodded to the leaving leader. He will leave with a little bit of dignity at the most. His harmless reputation; gone. He is now, a leader of the clans. He replied correctly to Seastar's out burst. She never had time to have Duskwing come out, but she thought better of stopping the leader and instead, confront him face to face in his own camp. "Except for a few sick cats, FrostClan is up and running. Prey is well, and so are we. Apprentices are learning quickly and are eager for more." Seastar sat back down on her branch and nodded to Jadestar, for her to continue the Gathering.

Jadestar Jadestar glared after Silentstar. "Silentstar!" she yowled. "Get back here- now." she hissed. "Do not think that IvyClan has the right to leave without hearing what the other clans have to say. You are in no way better then the other three clans. Do not be as inmature as to leave now." What would StarClan think? Jadestar thought a lot of things about Silentstar- but a fool? Doubtful. Jadestar had learned to not ever underestimate her enemies. Jadestar thought of the future of her clan. She wondered if Lightningstrike would be a good leader. Would he make wise decisions, or go into battle without second thought? Jadestar thought about what Silentstar and Seastar were just talking about. IvyClan had obviously poisoned the water of FrostClan. On Silentstar's part, it was deplorable- but smart. On Seastar's part, her warrior had almost killed one of his warriors. But to try and kill a whole clan over that? An overreaction definitely. Jadestar knew what she needed to do- prepare her clan for a war. Not that she would start one, but if worst came to worst all four clans would be involved.

[glow=red,2,300][shadow=red,left,300]MOONFIRE[/shadow][/glow] Moonfire watched the confrontation with narrowed eyes, IvyClan did not cease to surprise her. She regretted the fact that her apprentice, Hazelpaw, had not come, this would get interesting! Then again, she herself was immensely absorbed by the fact that neither of them noticed that the clouds, although slowly, were starting to cover the moon. Hurry up, she thought, settle this elsewhere, we need to make our report! She watched as Jadestar hissed angrily at Silentstar as he tried to leave. The fur on her back quickly rose, how dare he? We are all at a gathering! She quickly composed herself, Silentstar was not a fool, and he wasn't a coward, but by the act of turning his back to the rest of the clan leaders, made any cat who hadn't know him, seem to them, that he was cowardly, disrespectful, and trying to run away. That was a mousebrained move on his part.[glow=teal,2,300][shadow=white,left,300]ICEGLADE[/shadow][/glow] She hissed, those fox-hearted stupid, lousy, foxdung-mousebrained, cowardly fools! What a disgrace to their clan! How she wished that she could rip the fur off, what's-his-name's pelt, and his mate's, Wood-something's pelt. Urg! How dare they give Spottedwing those stares? She had hoped that Wood-something or other, would have been crippled for life, or have her face taken out! She admitted, that it was wrong to think..., but Oh, they deserved it. She bristled as What's-his-name, stared smugly at Spottedwing. She then turned her attention to the deputies, Lightningstrike looked a little nervous, as if Jadestar was about to pounce on Silentstar, she sneered in disgust, she went to turn her attention to Moonfire, when something behind Spottedwing caught her eye. She saw a flash of amber moving toward Spottedwing at a slow but steady pace, she almost called out,'Spottedwing, What's-his-name, and Wood-something is behind you!!', but she didn't, she would sound silly, I mean, 'What's-his-name? Wood-something? She would have no idea of what she was talking about, plus she would be laughed at. She slowly and gracefully glided toward Spottedwing and waved her tail franticly, trying to get her attention, pointing behind the spot where Spottedwing was standing. She wasn't sure if she had gotten the message so she glided/ran toward her, trying to act insuspicious. Spottedwing!!?!

RACCOONSTAR
Raccoonstar looked at the arguing leaders. Seastar and Silentstar were arguing about something. Sick cats? He shrugged it off and said, "SnakeClan has been doing fine. Prey is running better than ever, and no one is sick. We had a small group of rogues enter our territory, but they were driven out." he decided to leave out the part about Swifteyes' betrayal; the Clans did not need to know about this. He took a quick glance to Moonfire; he still needed to talk to her; and looked around. Silentstar had done something, he looked as if he had a traitor in his clan as well. He scanned for the cat, and saw that Dusk- something...maybe Duskwing...wasn't there! It seemed as if all of IvyClan but Duskwing was there! Where was this mysterious cat?
FALCONPAW
Falconpaw looked at all of the leaders talk, listening to every word. He knew by unspoken words that Silentstar was missing a warrior...no...a traitor! He saw the whole of IvyClan there, except for a cat called Duskwing. (He was very good with names.) He shrugged it off and looked at Seastar. She looked as if she had GAINED a warrior...Duskwing? Probably. Jadestar was looking at Silentstar angrily for trying to leave, and Raccoonstar was looking at Moonfire for some reason. The only thing he couldn't decipher was in his own Clan! He looked again at Raccoonstar, who was now looking over IvyClan. He'd find this out! What were Moonfire and Raccoonstar saying in their glance?
DUSKWING
Duskwing smiled at the whole of the Gathering. She came out when she was supposed to, but it was like a SnakeClan song with a word forgotten. She padded up toward the Great Sycamore anyway, and watched Silentstar gape in surprise. He already had had his humiliation, and this made Duskwing overjoyed. She sat with the FrostClan deputy, Cedarwing, and tried to hide her embarrassment at her forgotten entrance. She succeeded. She smiled darkly at Seastar and Silentstar. Raccoonstar and Jadestar were also looking at her with wary eyes. This made Duskwng very self-conscious. But she kept her dark smile on her face, her eyes laughing at Silentstar's expense.
ECHOSPIRIT
Echospirit looked around after the Gathering had finished and the clearing was empty. That was probably be the last Gathering she would ever see. She had made it nice for her. She had smiled at everyone, though her true feelings showed worry and sadness. And if any cat or Clan tried to stop her, she'd bring them down with her. One CloudClan cat, by the stench of herbs she knew it was Nightleaf, padded up toward her. She hadn't left yet for some reason. "Hey Echospirit," she said. "What are you doing? You looked like you were trying to hypnotize air." "Oh, um, nothing!" she exclaimed, trying not to look suspicious.
NIGHTLEAF
Nightleaf knew this she-cat who's name was Echospirit was lying. "What are you really up to? You look as if you have just decided to kill yourself." by the look on Echospirit's face, this was dead on. "You...you're going to kill yourself?! Why?" "Because my siblings and friends are all up there, in StarClan. I wish to join them." Echospirit calmly stated. "I can't let you do this! There's so much to live for!" Nightleaf exclaimed. "Then you will come with me!" Echospirit dragged her suddenly toward a cliff. No! She couldn't die yet! She fought out of Echospirit's grasp. This cat was insane! "Never! You might not have anything to live for, but I DO! I WILL NOT GO WITH YOU!" she screamed. She was slowly getting tugged to the edge of the cliff. "No one can ever know, Nightleaf. NO ONE!" She was dragged very close to the edge, and held on by digging in her claws. Then Echospirit picked her up by her neck and threw her off. Echospirit jumped after her. "You'll be with StarClan soon!" Echospirit said. "NEVER!" Nightleaf dug in her claws into the wall, and saved herself. There was still at least one hundred fox-lengths below her before death. But Echospirit was falling toward her. She landed on top of her, and knocked her off. She looked at death in the face. She saw her own life flash before her eyes, from being a newborn kit to now. She glared at Echospirit fiercely, then looked below. There was a small river below Nightleaf! She made sure to aim herself at the river, and plunged in. The water seemed to drown her, but she fought upward and gasped at air. She shook off the icy water once she emerged, and looked at Echospirit. Echospirit had been impaled by a sharp rock. She spoke, and that surprised Nightleaf. "T-tell...my Clan...of....my...d-death...tell them...that I'm...in StarClan now...and I'm...h-happy...truly...happy..." Echospirit panted. She took a shallow breath, and lay still. Nightleaf calmly padded to IvyClan and told Echospirit's story to all. She sauntered home, and told them of Echospirit's death. She went to SnakeClan too, and FrostClan. Nightleaf was very lucky she had survived with minimal injuries. Echospirit was happy now, and that was all that mattered to her. "Oh, Echospirit. May your last moments alive have been happy. May you rest in peace." Nightleaf whispered as she sat. She went up to the front of the camp and sat vigil for Echospirit's life and passing. "Rest now, Echospirit. I'm glad you spent your last moment with me. Though I could not cure you, I was there...to bring you hope. Goodbye, Echospirit. I'm sorry that you wanted me there, too, and I could not come. I have much to do here, and this I cannot do in StarClan. But may you have eternal happiness and fantastic hunting in Silverpelt. I will always remember you." Nightleaf then hummed a song of sorrow she learned from a SnakeClan friend, who was long dead. The words were thought to be lost, and a select few knew them. Nightleaf was taught them directly from a SnakeClan cat. "Rest now, young cat." she sang. "You are happy now. I will remember you, but I know you must go. Go now, young warrior. You are hunting now. With those great cats up in the sky, and away from those below. All will miss you, everyone. From FrostClan to SnakeClan. You had some fun, and up there you still can. I will miss you...goodbye..." Nightleaf finished the sorrowful song, and cried for the rest of her vigil.
