Subject: Moonfire's Application for Deputy of SnakeClan
Name: Moonfire
Clan: SnakeClan
Gender: She-cat (female)
Personality: Moonfire is like a rising moon to most cats, she is very wise and intelligent, but still very young. She shows "glowing" warmth to all of her clanmates and denmates, that is how she got her name Moonpaw. She was always kind and sympathetic and most cats thought that she would have become a medicine cat for outstanding memory. However, the first time she was in a battle, she was like a flame, estinquishing everything in her path with almost no empathy or sympathy at all! Hence the name, "fire"...
Description: Brown short-furred she-cat with amber eyes that show green in the sunlight (i know, weird right! 0.o), has a white under belly and a few white splotches on her shoulder and on her ears.One of here ears is bent sideways, her first battle scar! ^_^ ! But she still has excellent hearing.
Parents: Quailfeather (father) [Elder because he is deaf] and Ashlight (mother) [queen]
Littermates: Tawnykit (dead she-cat) and Fishkit (dead tom)
History: Her history really isn't that interesting, the biggest points are that she has wanted to be the Clan leader her whole life. Every single day, since the day she was born, she has worked her hardest to become a great leader. She made many important decisions in her life, one was to try never to mate. Her whole focus is on her clan, nothing can stand in her way, the clan must always go first! She must also try to be fair, she learned as a kit, that lying just got you into more trouble, she was going to always tell the truth and never lie (when necessary she decided she should but...)
A long time ago also, when she was 8 moons old (she's not that old now though...) she met an apprentice from another clan, she loved this cat as a brother, and they snuck out to meet each other every night. A moon later, she snuck out to meet him again and he wasn't there. At a later gathering, Moonfire (Moonpaw then) she heard some gossip from his clan. It was pieced together and she found out that he was banished! Some cat had found out about them! Later, the found him dead. Moonpaw was heartbroken, from then on, she vowed to stay loyal to the clan forever, she would not ever meet another cat again from a different clan. She was completely and utterly Loyal!
Writing Example: A fight broke out, Ohh no! "This was probably the first Clan battle in moons, and She was left behind! Oh, why couldn't she fight?! Shinelight, larktone, Duskkfall, Treepaw apprentice to Thistlenight, and Whitelightning were all stuck behind too.
"Why do I have to stay behind?" Treepaw moaned, "I'm not a kit anymore!"
"We all are left behind to protect the clan, you should be proud!" Whitelightning growled.
Moonfire left her Clanmates to check on the kits and queens. Her mother was there and she was worried, she was quite round and she was to be kitting any day now.
"Ashlight, how are you doing?" she asked queitly.
"Fine, but the kits are not even scared and I'm worried that they will make to much noise and attract IvyClan warriors!"
Now this was troubling too, the kits weren't even scared?
"YEAHHH!" Fawnkit shouted at the top of her lungs.
"Shhhhh!Be quite another queen hissed.
"Why?" Coralkit meowed, "I want to play a game!"
"You want to play a game?" Moonfire suddenly had a great idea, "they why don't you play, er, 'Hide-from-the-evil-cats'?
"Yeahhhhhhh!" the kits screamed, "how do you play?"
"Shh," she whispered lightly as she flicked each of them with her tail, "First and most importantly, you have to be really quite, can you do that?"
"Uhhhh-huhhh!"Dawnkit meowed really loudly, "i mean, uh-huhh!" She corrected herself.
"OK, the next thing you need to do is go and hide, so the evil cats won''t find you, and whatever you do, do NOT come out o.k.?"
"Then what?" Dawnkit moaned, "that's sooo boring!"
"Well," Moonfire meowed thinking fast, "umm, oh! Well, you, if you win, it shows that you are going to be great hunters, it's practice!" She ended brightly.
She watched as the kits scampered of to go and "play" the "game".
"Wait!" she meowed as she pulled Coralkit by the tail, "inside the nursery!"
"Fine!" she squeaked.
"Oh kits, so young, so Innocent!" she thought out loud.
"Good job!" Ashlight meowed, "I would have never thought of that!"
Suddenly she heard growling out side of the den, "Were they attacking already???"
She raced outside, only to find Shinelight and Thistlenight having a spat.
"Oh, look,more kits to deal with," she meowed lightly.
Thistlenight turned to glare at her, "I am not a kit!" he meowed slowly.
"look, we have a fight, and IvyClan could break in her any moment," She reminded them lightly, "You guys can have your squabble later," She hesitated a little, she didn't like ordering the older warriors around. But! she reminder herself, Racconstar left her in charge!
"O.k., Whitelightning, you go and take the look out, warn us when the cats are coming."
"Yes, Moonfire," she bowed her head.
Moonfire was startled, "I'm not the clan deputy!" yet she added silently.
"Now, Larktone, Treepaw, and Thistlenight, help me drag these rocks over to block their path, i know that they are hot, but we are more used to them then IvyClan, it will be hard for them to fight with hot rocks burning them! Duskfall and Shinelight, go and guard the back entrance and to see if they might sneak up on us!"
She watched them as they all headed to do what they were ordered.
Now all we have to do is wait!
