[glow=red,2,300][shadow=red,left,300]MOONFIRE[/shadow][/glow] "You love me?" she asked flustered, "You-," she took a step backward, "I don't know, Raccoonstar!" she replied, "I don't know who I like, I mean I like you because your my leader and all...." she trailed off, "I just don't know," she meowed looking him straight in the eye, right now, we have a clan to take care of, I just never loved anyone before...Do you really love me?" she asked staring him straight on?
She didn't want this to be a fake love, where she would get so caught up that she would actually fall in love and then he would go 'sorry, i don't like you anymore!'
she awaited his answer...
OCC: sorry this is getting sloppy and lazy right here, I am trying to write this, do a scratch project for someone, and give directions on how to use the site!!!! Oh good! ^^ Sea is on!!! |

"Yes Moonfire," Raccoonstar explained. "I really do love you. I would never fake these emotions, especially to you. I love you Moonfire, and I know you don't know right now, but if you do decide to become...my...mate...." he fumbled at the word. "I will love you and protect you as long as my nine lives will let me. With all of my heart. And if you don't love me.....I don't know. I don't know anything anymore, except that I love you more than I have and will ever love anyone. You are my one true love, and I will always protect you with all of my strength, and love you with all of my heart. And because you don't know or can't figure out these feeling that I have for you, I will give you time to think. If you come back to me, I will know that you truly love me as much as I love you. Goodnight, Moonfire...I love you." He knew he couldn't ever comprehend the feelings Moonfire had right now. But he did know that he loved her, always and forever. In StarClan, if she accepted him, they would be together, undisturbed and in love. He saw her leave, and he'd never forget her expression. He padded to his bedding, and slept, his mind confused, but at ease.

[glow=red,2,300][shadow=red,left,300]MOONFIRE[/shadow][/glow] As she walked out of his den, her thoughts were tangled, she couldn't think stright what did everyone else want of her? What did they expect her to do?
What do you want? a voice inside her asked.
When Moonfire slept that night, she felt confusion and fear, she felt some emotion she couldn't describe, like she was choking on something.
She was lying on her back, looking up at the stars, she was worried about the clan, they needed apprentices, and soon!
Suddenly, a shadow covered her, and she heard a voice, "Hey, Doll!"
she let out a mrrow of laughter, "Didn't i tell you to do better than that?" she heard herself saying, "Come on!"
"Yes," he meowed smiling ruefully. As this mysterious cat moved aside, she noticed his fur color, it was brown with black stripes, his paws were pitch black, and his eyes...his eyes were amber, but not startling amber, they were warm and welcoming. "Thunderheart," she meowed.
The rest of her dream she was lying next to Thunderheart, their pelts brushing.
Out of nowhere, expectantly, she saw Raccoonstar in front of her, but he was shadowed, she could not see his face, she could feel his emotion, and it was sad and forbidding. She stretched up her neck to see his face. Suddenly, she felt her self falling, falling, falling down, she braced herself, and then all was black...OCC: This kinda reminds me of Ashfur, Brambleclaw, and Squirrleflight! |

Thunderheart Thunderheart slept restlessly.
In front of him, he saw himself next to a she-cat. He could see her face or pelt color. In front of them, three tiny kits played together. This was the life he had always imagined for himself ever since he became an apprentice. Believe it or not, he had been planning out a future for himself.
Then he saw himself sitting next to Moonfire. They were old now, in the elders den. Do I sacrifice for Moonfire, or do I wait for a she-cat that can fulfill my dreams?
Thunderheart woke with a start early the next morning. Perfect time to show Eveningpaw the territory. He looked at Moonfire, and quietly stalked over to her. Nudging her with his paw, he bent down to her level. "Hey, doll. Do you and Hazelpaw want to come with Eveningpaw and I while I show her the territory?"
