In the medicine cat den

Lately, she had been making many excuses to go to the medicine cat den. She had missed her sister and she felt lonely training without her. She knew that this was the path she had wanted to take but, she somehow just hoped that they could have trained side by side.
As she walked into the medicine cat den, she prepared to make up an excuse for visiting again. She gave herself a good lick and then limped in.
"Duskpaw? Skyleaf?"

Skyleaf popped her head around the corner. "What do you need Eveningpaw?" Skyleaf sniffed around her. Even touched her to see for herself and with herself if she really had any pain. Nope. None. "Eveningpaw if your here to see your sister she's out collecting some dock leaves for me. We're running low." Skyleaf started to mix a bundle of herbs into a pile. "If you ever want to, you can come and visit her whenever you feel like it. Even if you aren't sick. I'll tell her when she gets back that you have my permission to go with her the next time she goes out looking for herbs, hm?" Skyleaf focused back on her herbs, put them on a large oak leaf, tied the top with a long piece of grass and set it aside.

She was relieved that Skyleaf understood, she didn't really like lying to her clanmates. She watched as Skyleaf, as she thought -fiddled- with some herbs.
What was she doing? She observed Skyleaf carefully as she quickly and nimbly tied up some sort of herb. She was so patient!!! How could medicine cats do that?
Now she was getting a little impatient.
Where was Duskpaw?
She opened her mouth to say ask were she was, "Skyleaf~?" Skyleaf patiently interrupted her.

"You can find her near the north stream, that's where dock grows best. Honestly Eveningpaw! Can't you wait an hour or so?" Skyleaf stated. She felt sorry for the apprentice but she should learn to be more patient. Well...maybe...maybe if Skyleaf gave her some medicine cat apprentice things to do, maybe she would gain patients? Skyleaf grabbed some poppy seeds and told Eveningpaw, "Go throw these seeds near the southern stream. Not in the stream, next to it. Then when you've done that please pick some poppy seed heads for me." Skyleaf went back to her work. She'd had enough time with meddlesome apprentices!

She looked at the seeds doubtfully. "Um..o.k. 'she meowed."
She hadn't a clue what she was going to do"...um..'i'll go ask Duskpaw....." she meowed.
She stared at the seeds for a few quick seconds.
"Waiiit," she meowed again, "What am i supposed to do?"
When Skyleaf didn't answer, she shrugged her shoulders and stepped out of camp to look for Duskpaw.

As she padded along next to the stream Duskpaw focused on finding the dock leaves that Skyleaf had sent her to collect. As Duskpaw scaned the area for the bright green leaves se heard the rustling of brush behind her,"Who's there?"She whispered. As a blue gray she-cat walked out from beneath the brush, "Eveningpaw?"

"Hi, Duskpaw!" she meowed, "Will you help me? Skyleaf gave me a few tasks that she wanted me to do, and i don't understand heads or tails of it!" she paused, and then continued, "She gave me some, uh..., what are they called? Oh, yeah, poppy seeds, she told me to throw them in the river, not the side of the river, in the river, she told me specifically. Then she told me to pick some poppy seed beds, which i don't really get at all. How do you pick poppy beds??"
She stared at Duskpaw questionably, while she cocked her head to one side, "Well??"

" Eveningpaw!Your not supposed to throw the poppy seeds into the stream,your supposed to throw them next to the stream!!!And your not supposed to pick a poppy bed,you pick poppy heads!!!!Someday I won't be there to remind you of everything your supposed to do!You have to learn to listen!"

"Sorry....." she meowed sadly...she then perked right up,"Okay! Let's go get some poopy beds!"

"Eveningpaw....what is with you!!!!!!!!!!" Duskpaw shrieked,"I explain everything to you and you just don't listen to a word i say and go and do a whole other thing!!!!!!!!! its imposible to talk to you about something you have to do!!!!!

Eveningpaw layed her ears to her head, "What's wrong with you?" she asked regectedly, "I havn't seen you in ages, all you do is slink around camp looking for herbs and sick cats to help. You dont even talk to me anymore! Being a medicne cat must be awful, especialy for you! I've been hunting, and training, and chased by a badger..twice! And you don't even have the decency to say hello? or how are you? Cause, nooooo being a medicine cat means everything but helping you sister out instead, it means to yell at her when she doesn't understand something! I listen, Duskpaw! I do, I do, I do! I've been listening my hardest to learn and train and hunt, and wait for a break to see you! Does being a medicine cat really imply that you ignor you sister? Does it imply that I should always understand everything meficine cats say? O' great and powerful Duskpaw? DOes it?"
and with that, she whisked away.

STUPID,STUPID,STUPID!!!!!!!! Duskfall cried to herself,Why'd you have to yell at her!?Now she's never going to talk to me again...now Ive lost my sister and my brother!!!But...Eveningpaw was right though...she had been ignoring her...But why'd i have to lose my temper!!!

As Duskpaw padded toward her favorite spot in Snakeclan territory (close to th border with Ivyclan)she stopped to scent the air.She was surprised to scent Eveningsong.I wonder what she's doing here?She thought to herself as she hid in a bush.
